How Pottery Parties Work
Private workshops give you exclusive use of our home studio!
We tidy up before you get here (haha), give a thorough demo of your pre-chosen choices of items and then assist you and your group to make amazing pottery.
With these workshops we can be quite flexible about what we are making. Using handbuilding techniques for most of our options, we also have two pottery wheels in the studio if you would like to include a demonstration or a taster as part of your workshop.
Your pieces will be slowly dried, checked, bisque fired, glazed and then fired again before being available for collection.
What do you need?
Our home studio is based right on the edge of te miro close to cambridge.
All equipment, aprons etc. are provided.
We have hot drinks, choccies and a cookie jar.
Feel free to bring a platter and/or byo beverages
If you would like the workshop to be based on a special theme please talk it out with us, especially if you would like to bring anything along to press into the clay, so exciting!
